While I often roast salmon on a sheet pan in the oven, this cooktop skillet preparation results in a crispier skin and can be plated in about 10 minutes. I served it here on some roasted asparagus (my current seasonal obsession) and a bed of whipped potatoes. . Here’s how I get perfect pan-seared salmon every time: . 2 tablespoons ghee 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 cloves garlic, peeled 2 Coho salmon fillets, thawed Sea salt Cracked black pepper . Remove frozen salmon fillets from packaging and thaw overnight in an air-tight container placed in the refrigerator. . Season thawed salmon fillets with sea salt and cracked black pepper. . Heat a 12-inch skillet over high heat. Once pan is heated, add ghee and olive oil. . Add garlic cloves to the heated oil, and stir for about 1 minute to infuse the oil. . Carefully place the salmon fillets into the skillet, flesh side down. Sear for 3 minutes. . Flip the fillets and cook until skin is crispy and salmon is cooked to 145 degrees F in the thickest part of the fillet (about 4 to 5 minutes). . Grilled Shrimp Salad with an Avocado-Hatch Chile Dressing!🍤 If you didn’t know it is currently Hatch Chile season! Woohoo! 😃 Have you ever had a hatch Chile before? I wanted to create something original, summery, flavorful, and healthy! The salad dressing I made using hatch chiles and avocados is insanely addictive tasting and it can even be used as a dip! The grilled shrimp and grilled vegetables so tasty here - this whole recipe screams summer! ☀️ 🥗 - To make the dressing take out a food processor and add 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 hatch chile, 1/2 cup parsley, 6 garlic cloves, 4 scallions, 1 lemon zested and juiced, and salt. Pulse until combined. The dressing is a little thick so if you want it thinner add more olive oil and lemon juice. Allow dressing to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour. - Take out a large grill pan and spray the pan with olive oil. - Peel and devein 1 pound of shrimp. Salt and pepper the shrimps and then place onto the grill for about 2 minutes per side. - Once all the shrimps have been cooked, grill 3-4 scallions for about 2 minutes per side. - Place 1 ear of corn onto the grill until charred, about 6-8 minutes. - Slice half a red onion and cut into 4 wedges then place onto the grill until charred, about 3-4 minutes. - Take out a medium bowl and add all the cooked shrimp. Chop up the cooked scallions and red onion and cut the kernels from the corn; then add everything to the bowl. - Add 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes to the bowl followed by the zest and juice of 1 lime, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp coriander, 1/8 tsp cumin, 1/4 cup cilantro, and 1 diced avocado. - Toss everything together then place into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. - Place a handful of spinach leaves into salad bowls and scoop shrimp salad into each bowl followed by a drizzling of the hatch chile salad dressing. - Serve up and enjoy! Would you make this Sizzlefish shrimp dish from @mandajesspanda? _ ⬇️ Sticky Honey Garlic Shrimp!!! 🙌🏾 These shrimp were amazing!!!!! The freshness of them + the flavors of this sauce is what dreams are made of!! I used 2 packs of @sizzlefishfit shrimp for this recipe and it made enough for 2! . Recipe: Combine for sauce: 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon soy sauce . Sear 2 cloves garlic + 1 cup fresh string beans about 5-7 minutes until garlic is golden. Season lightly w/ New Bae seasoning and Seasoned Salt. Add sauce mixture. Cook 1-2 mins, then add shrimp. Sauté on medium-high until sauce thickens and shrimp are cooked. What is YOUR favorite way to make salmon? via @acedarspoon ・・・ Hands down my favorite way to make salmon is in the air fryer! 🐟🐟 Air Fryer Salmon is one of the easiest, most delicious ways to make salmon. It creates a tender piece of salmon on the inside with a crispy outside layer. You can have salmon on your table in under 15 minutes- you really can't beat that. If you haven't tried it yet you have to! 🐟 WHAT YOU NEED: 2 fillets of @Sizzlefishfit salmon, about 5-6 ounces each 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon dill weed 1 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Freshly chopped parsley for topping Lemon wedges for topping 🐟 HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER SALMON: •Spray the inside of the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes. •Dab the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to dry them off. •Rub the two fillets with the 1 tablespoon olive oil. •In a small mixing bowl, combine the dill, oregano, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Mix well to create a rub. •Spread the salt rub on the salmon fillets evenly. •When the air fryer has come to temperature spray a non-stick oil on the inside of the tray. •Place the fillets skin-side down.
